Mrs. Thumwood has refined a sophisticated skill set over the course of a career that has spanned more than 36 years in the areas of pet safety, disaster preparedness, business management, customer service and public relations, and she continues to strive for excellence in her every endeavor.

Recognized among her professional peers and client base as an industry expert, Mrs. Thumwood has garnered a reputation of distinction for her ability to be a good listener and help others define the needs of the customers within the limitations of the customer’s expectations, while enabling her employees to meet their goals. She received a number of awards and honors over the course of her career, including The Firefighters Tool Award for Pet Alert as granted by the International Association of Fire Chiefs in Washington, DC. Although she has achieved many professional aspirations over the years, Mrs. Thumwood pinpoints the highlight of her career as being a catalyst for the “Viper vs. Viper Race” during the Luke Days air show at Luke Air Force Base; this has continued to be a successful venue at the show since 2002.
