PIPER offers several individual, peer-to-peer, family, and friends support groups for those suffering from the effects of mental disorders. All PIPER support groups are offered at no cost or obligation to those who wish to attend. PIPER, as part of being innovative, recently begun a men’s support group, in recognition of difficulties men may have in speaking in an open group setting; Ms. Damone’s is the first and only organization to offer this unique support group. PIPER also offers, in conjunction with Touro Law Center, Advocacy Training designed to give individuals an understanding of how to navigate the mental health system and move beyond it to a full life of recovery.
