With over three decades of combined professional experience, Ms. Mitchell assisted her late husband, Dr. Du-Wayne Mitchell, with his private doctors office for 20 years. Ms. Mitchell feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her husband for so many years and she enjoys living in his example and helping people with their nutrition. An expert in nutrition and foot reflexology, Ms. Mitchell conducts research, performs foot reflexology procedures, and promotes Mannatech nutritional supplements as the owner of Mitchells Nutrition Research.

Ms. Mitchell, a caring person who is always willing to help others, hopes to continue studying about nutrition in the future to benefit others by reducing diseases. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 1961 with a master’s degree in nutrition. She is certified in foot reflexology and attributes her success in the industry to her hard work, research and education.

Prior to her work in nutrition, Ms. Mitchell taught special education for kindergarten through third grades. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1945 with a bachelor’s degree in home economics and education. She is a certified special education teacher and worked for the Texas Department of Corrections for 19 years. She is a member of the Teachers Retirement System of Texas, The Red Hat Society, Inc., TOPS, Weight Watchers International, Inc., the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, and the Lions Club International. She enjoys volunteering at the Church of Christ and her local senior citizen center.
