Michael D. Park is the owner of Park Enterprises, LLC, a premier construction company offering consulting and construction services for renewable resources, as well as environmental construction, design, installation, and maintenance of alternative wastewater treatment systems, including gray water and drip systems. Mr. Park has been heralded as an authority on environmental construction and the use of renewable energy and resources, as his company offers an array of ecologically sound construction services, such as flood hazard remediation, mitigation design installation, mold and asbestos inspection, and historic building rehabilitation. As head of the company, he is responsible for overseeing alternative treatment plant operations, designing waste management systems, bidding, and negotiating export contracts. He also hosts operator safety certification seminars.

A master carpenter, certified welder and certified computer programmer, Mr. Park possesses a diverse and ever-growing skill set, and he is renowned as a valued and esteemed professional serving the construction industry. Mr. Park served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years and retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a master sergeant in the chemical corps with a total of 21 years of service. His father was a general contractor who gave him the opportunity to work in every major area of the construction business as a carpenter, iron worker and operating engineer. He mastered these trades before moving into management and owning his own company. He participated in high school speech and debate competitions from 1959 to 1960, and launched Park Enterprises in 1976. Having been lauded for his outstanding efforts, Mr. Park feels that the highlight of his career thus far has been working as a project coordinator for the Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corporation in 1973. He helped to move the company from Mountain View, Calif., to Puyallup, Wash., which took the workmanship of more than 20 vehicles and a large number of personnel; the task was completed without loss or damages.
