Mr. Fouty started the professional land surveying company in 1971. The company provides surveying and mapping services for subdivision and condominium plats, and boundary dispute expert witness services, and conducts boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Mr. Fouty is also an independent real estate broker, as well as a residential and commercial real estate developer.

Throughout his career, Mr. Fouty developed several Michigan subdivision and condominium projects, including Hilltop Homes condominiums at Park Lake in Bath in 2005; Hunter’s Crossing, also in Bath in 1997; Pine Knoll Estates, in Williamston in 1995; and Sandy Oak Village RV Park, in Houghton Lake in 1986. He is also the developer of MicroScan Maps Ltd., a digital database of land records. For his exceptional work, Mr. Fouty has been honored with numerous awards and accolades, including the President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Surveying Profession. He was also honored as an elected fellow of the Michigan Society of Registered Land Surveyors (Now Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors) and American Congress on Surveying & Mapping. Mr. Fouty believes he has excelled in his career over the past four decades due to his hard work and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
