He progressed throughout the industry, working for the U.S. Secret Service as the head of the communications and public relations department. Mr. Winter then decided to start his own firm and ventured out to form Winter Consulting Group in 2004.

Throughout his career, Mr. Winter has created strategic communication plans for high-profile clients, and developed comprehensive public relations campaigns on a national and international level. He is credited with drafting a 2013 White Paper for a national health care system on health care reform, and developing a communication plan for The Center of Innovation for Nanobiotechnology. For his exceptional work, Mr. Winter is a two-time recipient of the Telly Award Recognizing Exceptional Production of Government and Public Relations Films for the USSS.
