Paris, TN, July 17, 2016, Carolyn Purvis, Sole Proprietor of CP Quality Consulting, has been recognized by Elite American Business Owners for dedication, achievements and leadership in consulting.

Ms. Purvis became involved in her profession because of her prior experiences working for a manufacturing plant. All of the plants had to be registered by a certain date. She liked the process and eventually became the director of the quality system in that plant. From there, Ms. Purvis progressed into starting her own business.

In her role, Ms. Purvis consults, and performs internal audits and any pre-assessments. She also teaches internal audits and writes employee manuals. Ms. Purvis works closely with her clients to ensure they receive the highest quality services, and always listens to their needs in order to develop a strong solution. She takes great pride in her work and is always staying abreast of changes in the field through continuing her education and expanding her industry knowledge. Her greatest enjoyment is meeting new people, hearing their stories and helping them achieve certifications.

Aside from running her own company, Ms. Purvis is working as a contract auditor for IMSM, a consulting firm for ISO 9001:2008, a quality management system, and ISO 14001:2004, an environmental management system. Ms. Purvis believes it has been eye-opening to see the many different companies from software to scrap reclamation that are interested in becoming certified to ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 14000:2004. She attributes her success to her ability to take chaos and make organization. Looking toward the future, Ms. Purvis would like to continue to expand her client base.
